The number of new job announcements for the quantum technology industry was 14.8% lower in November, compared to the [adjusted] 5.2% increase reported for October. New job openings for North America dropped 18.3% month over month and returned to a level last seen in August 2024. New announcements in the European region dropped to a level last seen in May 2024, declining 14.7% month over month in November. However, the Rest of World region had an increase of 7.7% month over month, albeit based on a much smaller nominal level relative to the Europe and North America regions.
