Testing of fidelity and execution run time hypotheses using QED-C suite of application oriented benchmark programs

As the Quantum computers are rapidly scaling in performance, benchmarking is gaining importance to assess the state of the art. At QED-C, the Standards and Performance Metrics Technical Advisory Committee (Standards TAC) developed a suite of application-oriented performance benchmark programs which is now open-source. This is the result of a multi-year collaborative effort by a large number QED-C member companies active in the field.
