TAC

Use Cases

Identify and elaborate applications and use cases of quantum-enabled technologies, optimally organized for members by topics: Computing, Sensing, and Communications & Security. The output will inform companies across the supply chain — from component suppliers to users — as well as policy makers, government program managers, and investors.

Mission

Use Cases TAC that shall primarily work to identify useful applications of Quantum Information Science and Technology (QIST) and potential markets and timeline for commercialization. The useful applications of QIST may be differentiated and classified by application, model or purpose.

Vision

The Use Cases TAC aims to

  • Identify practical uses for quantum technology in the areas of Communications & Security, Sensing and Computing
  • Assess the readiness of these quantum technologies and any gaps that may exist
  • Partner with other TACs to help transition these technologies and applications to existing and emerging markets
