Landscape of Quantum Networking Webinar

Join QED-C’s Standards TAC and Enabling Technology TAC for a two-part webinar on the landscape of quantum networking.

The first session will feature Paul Kwiat of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, giving an overview of the promise of quantum networking. We will also hear from Krister Shalm about early-stage technology considerations, and from Carl Williams about lessons from classical networking and the importance of testbeds.

The second session will feature Eden Figueroa of Stony Brook University, exploring the highlights of US quantum networking testbed activities. We will hear from Mark Wippich (who leads the Quantum Marketplace™) about the companies playing in the space. We will also hear about the latest developments in the activities of the Standards TAC and Enabling Technology TAC.
