In order to grow and enable the quantum industry, it is crucial to attract and build a skilled workforce. That is where you, a seasoned professional working with QIST, are needed.
QED-C’s Office Hours are an opportunity for you to empower incoming talent and to answer their questions about what it is like to work in an emerging technology (or ET-adjacent) field.
Office Hours are held once on a month on the third Thursday from 11 am – 3 pm ET. Students sign up monthly and are paired with a professional on a one time basis. Mentors are asked to commit at least 30 minutes of their time (or meet with 1 student) per Office Hours session. The form is open year-round and so you are welcome to adjust as needed to meet your schedule.
QED-C will send all mentors a meeting invite to reserve their time for the entire segment of the office hours for the entire year*, and reminders will go out requesting update / confirmation of availability approximately 2 weeks before the event.
