Joab Rosenberg is a Partner at Deep33 Ventures, where he invests in frontier technologies including quantum computing and AI infrastructure. A physicist by training, he holds two MSc degrees, most recently in Quantum Optics and Quantum Foundations, and combines deep technical expertise with a background in philosophy.

Prior to venture capital, Rosenberg served in the Israel Defense Forces Intelligence Directorate, and commanded the elite Talpiot Program, shaping Israel’s next generation of defense-technology leaders. He retired as a Colonel and Deputy Head Analyst. Following the October 7 attacks, he led a large reservist team working with Palantir Technologies to support intelligence efforts to locate hostages and their captors.

He previously founded and led Ment.io, building advanced AI-driven technologies, and is also a published Hebrew poet.
