The workshop aims to bring together quantum sensing and networking experts, regulatory experts, and researchers to explore how quantum sensing can improve timing distribution systems and protocols.
Topics will explore the applicability, gaps, and needed developments of current technologies to synchronize distant clocks, with emphasis on the benefits to quantum technologies. We will perform benchmarking comparisons among the different methods for time distribution and identify primary and potential use cases.
