The Center for Quantum Information Physics (CQIP) is working on fundamental questions at the intersection of quantum physics, condensed matter, engineering, and materials science to advance quantum information science and its applications. The Center provides top-level learning opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students as well as senior researchers to create leaders in the quantum workforce. The CQIP mission is to develop multifaceted quantum technologies, pursue partnerships, and serve as a hub in New York City to connect quantum start-ups and industries, academics, and the broader community in technology and science. Join fellow attendees on the afternoon of Thursday, Nov. 6, for a tour of IBM’s Think Lab and a talk by Jay Gambetta, VP of Quantum and IBM Fellow. The IBM Think Lab is both a working laboratory and a collaboration space for sharing IBM’s vision for the future of computing with clients and collaborators. Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the AIU cluster, as well as IBM Quantum Systems One and Two—both of which are installed in the Think Lab. Roundtrip transportation will be provided. Registration closes October 31.
