Dr. Seth Caliga is a senior physicist at ColdQuanta where he leads the Quantum Sensing and Signal Processing group. His background is in AMO Physics (PhD CU Boulder/JILA), with experience in room temperature vapor cell-based sensors, as well as nanophotonics and cold/ultracold quantum gases. He has extensive experience executing DoD/IC R&D programs to develop cutting edge sensors and devices combining lasers, control electronics, and the quantum nature of atoms. This includes clocks, magnetometers, inertial sensors, as well as RF sensors. Dr. Caliga is serving as the Q4NS TAC Chair in 2023. As chair his primary agenda encompasses quantum sensor maturation and international collaboration in quantum systems, including export control and workforce development.
