Carol Hawk

Carol Hawk is currently Senior Technical Advisor in the Office of Advanced Super Computing Research (ASCR) in the DOE Office of Science. Carol conducted her Ph.D. research in High-Energy Physics at Rutgers University, while a member of the Collider Detector at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory Collaboration. Since then she has worked in telecommunications (at Bell Communications Research), fuel cell electrochemistry (at United Technologies Research Center and the University of Connecticut), and operations research with the Center for Naval Analyses. Prior to joining ASCR, she served as Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Cybersecurity for Energy Delivery Systems (CEDS) division of DOE’s Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security and Emergency Response (CESER).
